Information You Enter
Names, phone numbers, and addresses entered into a search box are sent to the third-party provider that supplies that result service. Passaic Residents Directory does not store a copy of those search entries. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Normal hosting logs can record an IP address, browser type, viewed page, and time of a visit. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the service and understand overall use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
The limited information described above is used to operate, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the service. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles.
External Services
Links lead to government portals, library and archive collections, and sponsored result providers. The privacy terms of those services govern information submitted after you leave this site. Review their notices before entering personal information or making a request.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers may process the technical data needed to run the service. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described here. We disclose information when valid legal process requires disclosure and otherwise do not share it.
Safeguards and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection. Logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no user accounts, passwords, or member profiles maintained by Passaic Residents Directory.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a minor has sent information to us, contact us so it can be deleted.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on the applicable law, a person may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing of personal data. New Jersey’s Data Privacy Act is P.L. 2023, c.266; the research record notes that a current codified-section and agency-guidance check is needed before any detailed rights matrix is stated. Because this service keeps very little, a request generally means checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs, then removing what is found. Use the Contact page to ask. Records held by a New Jersey state, county, city, court, library, or archive must be addressed to that custodian.
Policy Changes
Any revision will appear on this policy page. Continued use after a posted revision indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
